A nature lover, outdoor adventurer and an attention to detail addict.

Meet Luke

From a young age Luke has always yearned for something more, something different and a life lived something unique.

After completing his Melbourne-based apprenticeship in cabinet making, Luke packed up his old 4WD, threw a dinghy on the roof and began a six-year odyssey travelling around Australia, Indonesia and Fiji.

Luke worked with a variety of trades around the country gathering invaluable build and construction experience while surfing, fishing, diving and jamming with numerous bands and musicians along the way.

After meeting his future soul partner, April, they quickly settled down in the remote coastal town of Exmouth, off the north-west cape of Western Australia. Exmouth became home and together they began raising their two little mermaids, Lani and Gypsea.

Ningaloo’s magical textures and landscapes, where the ‘range meets the reef’, became the inspiration to create and help build Exmouth’s town and community. It also provided the perfect backdrop for study and in 2014, Luke successfully completed his Builder’s Registration.

The sleepy little town of Exmouth has rapidly morphed into a good vibes town and a must-see for world travellers. Today, you’ll find many completed LukeBuild projects nestled amongst the town and the Cape Range National Park.

During his time working and travelling around the country Luke has created a vast web of treasured friendships, contacts and work colleague’s.

As always, yearning for something more, something different and something unique means LukeBuild is open and adaptable to new project locations around Australia.

Who knows what the future will hold!
